The 2026 Asian Rowing Beach Sprint Championships successfully concluded on 7 June after four days of exciting racing on Jomtien Beach, Pattaya.
The event brought together 14 teams and about 140 rowers in 103 boats. Host nation Thailand topped the medal table with 6 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze (13 medals). China finished second with 4 gold and 2 silver (6 medals), followed by the Philippines with 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze (5 medals). Vietnam earned 2 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze (8 medals). Other medalists included Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong China, the United Arab Emirates, India, Malaysia, Uzbekistan and Iraq.
A total of 44 medals were awarded.
The Asian Rowing Federation extended its sincere congratulations to all participating athletes, coaches, and officials for their dedication and contribution to the success of the event. The ARF also expressed its profound gratitude to the Rowing and Canoeing Association of Thailand (RCAT) for its excellent organization and to all event partners for their invaluable support.
The 2026 Asian Rowing Beach Sprint Championships once again reaffirmed the continued growth and vitality of beach sprint rowing across Asia.
